WHY WORK WITH ME?
I've worked in public relations (PR) and corporate affairs teams for some of the largest companies in the world, and was the founding head of the leading media contacts database in Australia, Telum Media.
I have helped countless businesses and organisations learn how to work with media to achieve their growth goals. And, I've helped to manage media crises, keeping stories out of the news and managing the fallout when a story does break.
So who is David?
A bit about me: I started my career in a consumer PR agency, helping to manage the media relations for everything from HR and recruitment companies, to natural juice companies, through to season 1 of Keeping up with the Kardashians. It was a wild ride!

I moved myself to London just as the financial crisis was taking hold in 2008, but landed a role in the corporate affairs team for a Fortune 500 organisation, helping manage both brand PR and issues and crisis management.

Eventually I found my way back to Australia when I was headhunted for a role in an ASX15 company, one of Australia's largest insurers. Among other things I helped manage brand communications, and media relations during natural disasters like storms, floods and fires.
Later I was asked to found and run the Australia and New Zealand arm of a media contacts database, and I grew it from a standing-start into not just a multi-million dollar business with hundreds of PR clients, but the leading resource of information for who-is-who in media, and how best to work with them to get the results businesses and organisations need.
I had the privilege of getting to know, interview and work with hundreds, maybe thousands of journalists from around Australia and the world.

Today I help businesses grow using the lessons I've learned from my nearly 20 years in business, and as one of the leading experts in working with journalists and editors.
